Roda Pool Party and everything September has in store for us!

September has arrived with Roda Pool Party wrapping up the special summer editions at MAAYA! And we've still got the Cleiton Rasta and Victor Cena show, Os Garotin straight from São Gonçalo invading Berlin, and Djavan with sold-out tickets! And you all being happy!

I think this year Berlin felt the word SUMMER in its skin and soul!

And before we say goodbye "to it," before we live in denial of its end, before we see the leaves turn yellow, before they start to fall and we put on that big coat, we've got a Sunday funday with an open air party, samba, feijoada, and that delicious Roda vibe with a pool involved this time.

One last possible summer dream: this Sunday, September 6th, we've got a date at Maaya. From 12pm to 10pm. Berlin, we're counting on you to show up, don't let us down!

Look at this banger! On September 16th, Cleiton Rasta and Victor Cena hit Badehaus with the Debocha Regueiro tour. A mix of heavy Alagoas reggae from the "cabeça de gelo" with reinterpretations of MPB and rock classics like you've never seen. If you know, you know. Chama!

Straight from São Gonçalo, the trio Os Garotin land in Europe for a tour. Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Dublin, Porto, Lisbon, Madrid, and Barcelona are going to fall in love with the R&B of Anchietx, Léo Guima, and Cupertino.

Speaking of international tours, Djavan has nearly sold out every show! For those in Hamburg, Zurich, and London, there's still time to get the last tickets. As for Berlin, Utrecht, Paris, Barcelona, and Luxembourg, it's all sold out.

Sunday, September 6th, is the last Roda Pool Party of the year at MAAYA! Sun, samba, pool access, and that vibe only the Roda crowd knows how to create. Seriously, you all bring it every time! 💙

Repeating the success of the last Roda. We kick things off at 11am moving our bodies with the Booty Lab by Latin Fusion class. Lots of cardio to the sound of Brazilian music. Time to loosen those hips and dance till you drop! Book through Urban Sports, members pay just 5€ for the Pool Party after class, and if you've got a Roda ticket, the class is already included ;)

At 12pm we officially open the doors with DJ Acerola and his vinyl set. From there it's a full day of programming: a free samba de gafieira workshop with Carlos Frevo, Roda de Samba, lots of axé with the wonderful Zé Leônidas and his Axé Babá, DJ Rô and DJ Killa keeping the dance floor hot until 10pm.

For the little ones, we're preparing a dance workshop from Sou.L Academy led by teacher Luana Villaça, which is going to be adorable! On top of that, we're proud to host her students for a very special performance.

And we've also got our beloved Kids Area providing lots of activities for the kids to enjoy.

There's a bounce house, painting, games, storytelling, and a bunch of surprises.

Children up to 11 years old and September birthday kids get in free (bring ID at the door). Teens 12 to 18 pay half price.

At our Food Market we'll have: feijoada (traditional and vegan), coxinha, pastel de feira, picanha, acarajé, and a selection of sweets and cakes. Not to mention the caipirinha, which is basically mandatory.

Come early and have lunch with us! MAAYA has both covered and open areas, ready for any kind of weather. But you already know there's no such thing as bad weather around here.

Known for catchphrases that became part of Brazilian internet culture, Cleiton Rasta runs the dance floor with the heavy bass of Northeastern sound systems, while Victor Cena keeps the crowd going by turning big MPB, pop, and rock classics into infectious, laid-back versions.

It's one of those shows where everyone has a blast. Reggae to crack up to? It totally worked! Simply unmissable!

From São Gonçalo to Berlin, come hear the Brazilian R&B that's shaking up the scene with this trio of pure charisma, sway, and swing. On September 18th, Gretchen won't be big enough. We're going to shake the foundations with just the passinho, courtesy of Anchietx, Léo Guima, and Cupertino.
