December is here, and it hit us:
2025 is coming to an end. Bring it on, 2026!

December arrived in the blink of an eye, and 2025 was a historic year!

We filled the city with strength, beauty, and identity: packed venues, a powerhouse Psicotrópicos line-up, sunny summer editions of Roda de Feijoada by the pool, and shows that made us feel deeply proud of our Brazilian roots.

We also said goodbye to the great master Hermeto Pascoal, whose brilliant presence at one of his final concerts, right here at Psicotrópicos Festival, left a mark on our community forever. What a privilege to witness that moment.

Yes, Brazilian culture is resistance. Taking up space is political. And in 2026, we remain firm in our mission to bring Brazilian art to every corner of the city.

To wrap up 2025 on a high note, hit play on our playlist: RADAR BOSSA FM, now with the final update of the year featuring the hottest new tracks in Brazilian music. It’s a beauty! 

And how about ending the year with that warm, cozy samba feeling? This Sunday, December 7th, we host the last Roda de Feijoada of the year at Festsaal Kreuzberg, with a Brazilian-style Weihnachtsmarkt vibe. Yes, we’ll have Santa Claus dropping by for some samba, plus Glühwein and lots of delicious treats.

It’s that time of the year when Berlin’s Christmas markets take over the city and fill it with that magical atmosphere we all love. 

On December 7th, our Roda de Feijoada transforms Festsaal Kreuzberg into a Weihnachtsmarkt with a Brazilian soul, the kind that makes us forget winter for a few hours.

We’ll have live Roda de Samba, a vinyl set by DJ Acerola to start the day, DJ Marla Roots keeping the energy high between sets, and a free samba de gafieira class with Carlos Frevo to get everyone dancing. Plus: Brazilian vendors at our Christmas market, delicious food, and our kids area with a bouncy castle, art workshops, games, and much more!

And of course, we’re making Santa Claus dance samba, right?
Ronan Bonagamba arrives towering above the crowd on stilts as his character Grande Noel, blending clowning, juggling, and music to enchant audiences of all ages.

Doors open at 12:00. Feel free to come early and enjoy every moment.

Our Kids Area is going strong in a dedicated space made especially for the little ones. There’s a bouncy castle, face painting, games, and plenty of activities to keep the kids happy all day long.

At the Food Market, we’ll have feijoada, picanha, pastéis, coxinha, rabanada, Brazilian desserts, and brigadeiro. Always with vegan options for feijoada, pastel, and coxinha! And of course, we’ll have Glühwein and Caipirinhas!

On Thursday, December 11th, Badehaus will host an unforgettable night. Yago Oproprio, nominated for the 2024 Latin Grammy for his track La Noche and praised by Rolling Stone Brasil, takes the stage. The São Paulo rapper blends rap, trap, and MPB with an urban, straightforward edge, turning his experiences from São Paulo’s East Zone into music that captivates any audience.

Opening the night is Rô Rosa, bringing a mix of MPB, trap, rap, and samba, with hits like Te Vi de Canto and Imprevisto. It’s the perfect combination.

Carnaval Baile da Bossa

They say the year only truly begins after Carnaval, so get ready, 2026, because we’ve got dates, and February is coming in hot!

In Berlin, Carnaval Baile da Bossa takes over Festsaal Kreuzberg on February 21st. SIt’s more than 15 hours of Brazilian music for every taste: samba, frevo, axé, brega, and non-stop celebration from start to finish. And here’s a little taste of what’s coming: Carnaval Orquestra, Urso Ki Ti Schubsen, Sapucaiu no Samba, Swing Baiano, DJs Carlos Frevo · Rô · JC, plus more acts to be revealed very soon!

Carnaval Baile da Bossa is also happening in the Netherlands!

In Utrecht, the festivities take place on February 8th, with a special family-friendly Carnaval party.

Then, in Amsterdam, Carnaval Baile da Bossa arrives on February 13th at Melkweg! Get ready, you’ll be dancing to Carnaval Orquestra, DJ Pyraña, and more to be announced.

And for the very first time in Hamburg, on February 27th, Carnaval Baile da Bossa is coming with Carnaval Orquestra, DJ Rô, and more artists to be confirmed.
