After a first tour with sold-out shows from start to finish, Monobloco is back in Dublin and heading out on their second European tour with a top-notch crew, promising to bring the very best of Brazil and its infectious rhythms to 8 countries and 10 cities. With an explosive nine-piece percussion ensemble, the group explores the full spectrum of Brazilian music — and beyond — with arrangements that have become staples in their shows and parties across Brazil and around the world, guaranteed to get everyone dancing.
From Alceu Valença to classic samba-enredo, from the contemporary pop of Lulu Santos to timeless hits by the kings of groove, Jorge Ben Jor and Tim Maia, with stops in Bahia, through funk from Rio, and sounds from across the entire country — nothing is left out of this vibrant melting pot of rhythms.
