Festa Junina invites Roda. The most Brazilian São João in Berlin is finally happening on August 1 at Festsaal Kreuzberg!
From 1PM to 12AM, the entire Festsaal complex transforms into a vibrant celebration of Brazilian culture across two stages.
Festa Junina Stage:
- Kids Activities by Luciano de Freitas;
- Love Mail by Augusto Medeiros;
- Quadrilha (the traditional Festa Junina partner dance);
- Forró Workshop: Miudinho, Tau;
- Live Music: Forrobodó do Zé and Maracatu Marafoxé Nação Nagô.
Roda Stage Open Air:
- Live Samba by Roda;
- DJs: Carlos Frevo, Rô, Tau, and Acerola.
Food & Drinks:
Brazilian food market, offering a full menu of traditional favorites: feijoada (traditional & vegan), acarajé, cuscuz, pastel de feira, pão de queijo, pamonha, sugarcane juice, corn cake, empadão, cocada, picanha, vatapá, brigadeiro, churros, and much more. Bossa’s Cachaça Bar will be serving up caipirinhas.
Kids & Families:
Until 8PM, we offer a dedicated family area with fun junina games like sack races, musical chairs, tug of war, kids' quadrilha, and a bouncy castle.
Children up to 11 enter for free. Youth aged 12 to 18 pay half price.
Birthday people celebrating in June, July, or August get free entry. Just show a photo ID at the event entrance.
