Welcome to the second episode of ‘Esquema Novo’ with Tim Garcia (Música Macondo). Música Macondo is a London based collective of DJs, promoters and writers aiming to create a platform for Jazz, Latin and Global sounds.
Tim spoke to Sonido Tropico’s Arthur Carneiro aka El Peche about his influences and upcoming releases. They also speak about the Sao Paulo collective and their future plans along with an exciting collaboration with UK based Brainchild Festival.
El Peche is part of the Label & Event Collective Sonido Tropico rooted in São Paulo ‘s underground scene, El Peche brings a heavy mix of Tropical and Brazilian Folk sounds and rhythmic Brazilian beats. Born in São Paulo and raised in the UK, he is part of the rapidly growing world electronic music movement and has just come back from a European tour showcasing the latest developments of São Paulo’s underground scene.
