BAILE FUNK DA BOSSA

This coming Saturday, September 25, 2021 will be the second edition of the Baile Funk of BOSSA , our first nighttime and indoor event since 2020. We are very happy to finally be able to perform as we had planned: with a live band, djs and performances.
For this edition we have the pleasure to welcome Sabrina Ginga, dancer from Heavy Baile in Brazil, who will be our special guest in the performance team, led by Kysy Fischer and with the presence of dancer Jani, from the Berliner dance group "Latin Fusion", who conducts workshops of Funk Carioca and Latin rhythms in Berlin.
On the musical side, there will be a show by the band La By'le, a Berliner live act that fuses Funk Carioca with the worldwide. A crew that unites music, dance and diversity.
We have also invited Lapada Boys, another Berliner project specialised in Brega Funk.
The night starts and ends with DJ DA MATTA mixing classics with current sounds of Baile Funk.

We want our dance to be a safe environment for everyone. We will be prepared to help you if someone invades your space or crosses the line.

The team will be identified by a fluorescent mark on the arm.

We close our eyes and ask ourselves: what food goes with Baile Funk? Bingo! There is going to be that full-sized dog waiting for you!
COURIOSITY
Did you know that BAILE FUNK DA BOSSA was supposed to be launched in April 2020 with a show by the band Heavy Baile. However, it was the peak of the pandemic, and it turned into a live. If you missed it, you can check it out HERE.
DANCE WORKSHOP
On 23/Sept (Thu) and 25/Sept (Sat), Sabrina Ginga (Heavy Baile) will do a Baile Funk workshop promoted by Arrudas. For more information please write to arrudas.prod@gmail.com.
If you like to shake your ass all the time in Berlin, check out the work of Latin Fusion - and also the classes of Gabrielitcha, who participated in the first "Baile" and is in charge of Bunda Full, a Brega Funk dance project.

Roda de Feijoada is a monthly Brazilian samba and gastronomy event in Berlin.
We are super proud to have launched a new phase of the Roda de Feijoada, where we always present a tribute to a samba singer. Last month it was Dona Ivone Lara's turn and in October it will be Paulinho da Viola's month.
For you to sing all the songs with us, we will provide a QR Code, where you will have access to the lyrics of the tribute artist, as well as facts about the artist.
As always, we will have different food partners that will offer the traditional Feijoada, Picanha na Brasa, Pastel, Coxinha, Brigadeiro and much more.
The @rodadefeijoada event in Berlin is Kids friendly ❤. Our exclusive area for kids has an instructor who performs activities and games for the little ones to also have fun with their parents.
CORRA LOKA CORRA PODCAST
During the event we will celebrate the launch of the @corralokacorrapodcast - a podcast in Portuguese about the dis|illusion that running away from home is more elegant. The people behind these voices and this fun project are the Brazilians Cacau Maciel, Kysy Fischer, Paula Bonfatti and Rafaella Marques. With sound creation and editing by Rodrigo da Matta. The podcast is a co-production of BOSSA FM
